What this website is
This website describes WorldSafe services, publishes written guidance on physical security, and provides free tools and downloadable materials. Nothing on this website is a proposal, a quote, or a commitment to provide services. A WorldSafe engagement begins only when both parties sign a written agreement.
Guidance is general, not advice for your facility
Articles, guides, glossary entries, the Information Accessibility Check, and downloadable documents on this site describe general practice. They are not a security assessment, a legal opinion, or a recommendation for any specific facility, organization, or person. Security decisions depend on conditions a general article cannot see. Do not substitute this material for a practitioner who has examined your site.
The Information Accessibility Check
The Check is a free self-assessment tool. It scores answers you provide about your own plans and procedures. WorldSafe does not verify those answers, does not visit your facility, and does not review your documents as part of the Check. Results indicate where to look further. They are not a finding, a certification, or a substitute for an assessment.
Downloadable materials
WorldSafe publishes certain documents, including preparation briefs and ebooks, at no cost and without registration. You may download, print, and share them internally within your organization in unmodified form. You may not resell them, present them as your own work, or remove WorldSafe attribution. Republishing extracts requires written permission.
Grant program information
Pages describing the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, the Port Security Grant Program, and other funding sources summarize publicly available federal and state information. Program rules, funding levels, and deadlines change, and states administer their own timelines. Verify current requirements with the administering agency before relying on anything stated here. WorldSafe does not guarantee any application outcome.
Regulatory and compliance content
Pages describing NERC CIP-014, TSA pipeline security guidelines, and similar frameworks summarize requirements as WorldSafe understands them. Regulatory standards are revised, and interpretation depends on your registration status and facilities. Confirm applicability with your compliance function or counsel. Reading this website does not establish compliance and produces no audit evidence.
WorldSafe Certified
The certified partner catalogue lists organizations that have completed WorldSafe vetting. Certification reflects the review WorldSafe performed at the time it was granted. It is not a warranty of any partner's work, a guarantee of performance, or an ongoing endorsement. Contract with listed partners directly and conduct your own due diligence.
Intellectual property
The WorldSafe name, the wordmark, the WorldSafe Certified mark, and the content of this website are owned by WorldSafe. You may link to pages on this site and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy substantial portions, use WorldSafe marks to suggest a relationship that does not exist, or display the Certified mark without a current certification.
Information you submit
Forms on this site collect the information you enter. Handling of that information is described in the
